DESCRIPTION

Welcome to an empowering and exciting four-day tennis journey that has been exclusively crafted for women! As the summer sun sets, prepare to immerse yourself in the game's fundamentals from 7pm to 8:30pm each evening, Monday through Thursday. This program is all about getting you comfortable and confident on the court, whether you're new to the sport, a casual player wanting to upgrade your skills, or returning to the game after some time off.

Our professional tennis team will be providing structured, comprehensive coaching that's both instructive and fun. We ensure that you'll receive ample personal attention, practical insights, and an environment that nurtures your love for the game. Furthermore, to make learning more enjoyable and interactive, each day's session concludes with a mini-game reinforcing the skills and strategies of the day.

Here's how we're going to help you smash it on the court:

Monday:

Forehands and Backhands - The week begins with a strong focus on the bread and butter of any tennis player, the forehand and backhand strokes. Learn the techniques, grips, and body mechanics that will make these shots your reliable allies on the court. A lively mini-game will help you practice these strokes in a dynamic, competitive environment.

Tuesday:

Volleys and Overheads - On the second day, we shift our attention to the net with volleys and overheads. Understanding the correct technique, positioning, and timing for these shots can shift the momentum of the match in your favor. After the lesson, enjoy a mini-game designed to integrate these skills into your gameplay.

Wednesday:

Serves and Scoring - We dedicate the third day to mastering serves and understanding the unique tennis scoring system. Discover the different types of serves, learn the correct tossing and hitting technique, and unlock the mystery behind "love", "deuce", and "advantage". The day concludes with a serve-and-score mini-game, where you'll apply your newly-acquired knowledge.

Thursday:

Doubles Point Play - We wrap up the week with doubles point play. This day is all about understanding teamwork, communication, positioning, and strategy on the court. You'll learn how to work effectively with your partner to cover the court and create opportunities. The final day culminates in a competitive doubles mini-game, where you and your partner will put into play all the skills and strategies learned throughout the week.

Women's Tennis 101 isn't just about learning the game; it's about building confidence, fostering camaraderie, and above all, having fun.

WHAT TO BRING

  1. Racquet: No need to bring your own! We'll provide the racquets for everyone.

  2. Tennis Shoes: Safety and performance on the court starts with your footwear. Make sure to wear proper tennis shoes.

  3. Athletic Apparel: Wear comfortable athletic clothing that allows for easy movement. Shorts or pants with pockets can be helpful for holding extra balls.

  4. Water: Hydration is key, especially during intense physical activity. Bring a water bottle to each session. Refilling stations are available on-site.

  5. Towel: You might get sweaty! A small towel for wiping off during breaks can come in handy.

  6. Sunscreen: The sessions will be outdoors, so it's important to protect your skin with sunscreen.

  7. Hat or Visor: Depending on the weather, you might want additional sun protection. Hats or visors are a good option.

  8. Positive Attitude: Come ready to learn, play, and grow in your tennis journey. The most important thing is to have fun!
