Wildflower Women's Tennis
After an entire weekend of matches, the 3.5 team (captained by Shana Jeter) pulled out a big win.
This WF Tennis Team began their season competing in a local league in Bell County that included other teams lasting over a weekend in a playoff tournament. The winner of this local league would have an opportunity to play in the big State Tournament hosted in Houston and the runner up for this division would compete in little state tournament in Corpus Cristi.
The WF Tennis Team took 1st place in the local league qualifying them to compete in Houston against 15 other teams who also qualified for this tournament. The WF Tennis Team were the only ones to qualify for the State Tournament in this division.
The team competed this past weekend in Houston making it all the way to the end placing 3rd in the biggest state tennis tournament for this division.
This gives the WF Womens 3.5 40+ Team 1st Place in Bell County and 3rd in the State of Texas.
