Wildflower Women's Tennis
The 3.0 qualified team competed in Dallas Texas Friday and Saturday.
Day 1
The WF Women's Team started day 1 with a big win against Corpus sweeping them 5-0 with several lines going 6-0, 6,0. The second match was challenge competing against Austin. The WF team took their 1st loss 2-3.
Day 2
On day 2 the team took on the #1 Seed and won the match taking all 3 doubles lines. That afternoon the team took on another Austin team and pulled out a victory 3-2.
The Finals...
The team was set to play in the finals however, the weather did not allow for play all day and the USTA decided to cancel the tournament.
The WF Tennis Team took 2nd place in the local league qualifying them to compete in Dallas this past weekend. The WF Tennis Team were the only ones to qualify for the State Tournament in this division.
