Wildflower Women's Tennis 3.0 Team To Compete At Sectionals

Wildflower Women's Tennis
The 3.0 qualified team competed in Dallas Texas Friday and Saturday.
Friday
The WF Women's Team started their first match against Missouri City and took a quick and easy win.
Later that afternoon the team took on one of the toughest teams in the state....Dallas. With every match going to a tie break the team won 3-2 putting the team 2-0 for Friday.
Saturday
Saturday morning the team took on Laredo and once again took a win 4-1.
Later that afternoon the sealed another win against Amarillo securing them in the Semi Finals for Sunday.
Sunday
Sunday morning the team took on Austin and took their first loss 2-3 ending their winning streak.
This is the first time the 3.0 Team has made it to Championship Sunday. The team ended with a 4-1 record at the USTA State Tournament. The players played so well!
The WF Tennis Team took 1st place in the local league qualifying them to compete in Dallas this past weekend. The WF Tennis Team were the only ones to qualify for the State Tournament in this division.
Congratulations to the ladies 3.0 Qualifying Sectionals Team.
